Asfalt na ścieżce rowerowej między Gnieżdżewem a Swarzewem
Zamiast szutru będzie asfalt – na ścieżce rowerowej między Gnieżdżewem a Swarzewem w gminie Puck. Rozstrzygnięto już przetarg i podpisano umowę z wykonawcą.
– Ścieżka prowadzić będzie z tzw. Górki Gnieżdżewskiej do Swarzewa – choć do ulicy Szkolnej nie dotrze – wyjaśnia wójt gminy Puck Tadeusz Puszkarczuk.
Wybudowanie tego odcinka będzie kosztowało prawie 900 tysięcy złotych, z czego 300 tys gmina pokryje z dofinansowania pozyskanego z Programu Operacyjnego Ryby. Odcinek, który jest kontynuacją ścieżki biegnącej nad brzegiem Zatoki Puckiej i wzdłuż wojewódzkiej 216, będzie wybudowany od podstaw i wzmocniony. Tak by obok rowerzystów mogli korzystać z niego także okoliczni rolnicy. Ścieżka ma być gotowa do połowy maja tego roku.
Władze gminy rozważają objęcie jej monitoringiem – podobnym do działających już punktów na szlaku z Pucka do Krokowej. Powodem są kierowcy, którzy – zwłaszcza latem – łamiąc przepisy korzystają ze ścieżki skracając sobie drogę i uciekają z zatłoczonej 216. Na razie wjazdu na ścieżkę przed Gnieżdżewską Górką strzeże jedynie szlaban.
