Jakie są konsekwencje wypalania traw – przypomina ARiMR
Idzie wiosna,a wraz z nią wraca kwestia wypalania traw. Agencja Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa, jak co roku, przypomina rolnikom o konsekwencjach tego procederu.
– Jednak proceder ten jest nielegalny, niebezpieczny a w dodatku szkodliwy – przypomina Stanisława Bujanowicz, zastępca dyrektora gdyńskiego oddziału Agencji. Na szczęście, świadomość rolników rośnie – dodaje.
Wypalanie traw stosowane jest jako łatwy i skuteczny środek pozbywania się chwastów i ich nasion, a także do oczyszczania pól z uschniętej roślinności i ich pozostałości. Jeszcze dekadę temu było to nagminne.
Ponadto wypalanie grozi również niekontrolowanymi pożarami. Przypomnijmy, że obowiązkiem każdego rolnika jest zgłoszenie do Agencji takiego pożaru w ciągu 10 dni od zdarzenia, także jeżeli powstał z przyczyn niezależnych od niego.
