Odważni wygrywają – przekonują w Gdyni w kolejnej odsłonie akcji promującej profilaktykę raka jądra. Od dziewięciu lat kampanię prowadzi Fundacja „Gdyński Most Nadziei” zainspirowana historią młodego Gdynianina, u którego wykryto nowotwór.
– Zachęcamy panów do samobadania, a listopad jest kulminacją tych działań – mówi psychoonkolog i prezes fundacji Małgorzata Marmajewska.
Jej program edukacyjny prowadzony jest już w sześciu miastach, przyłączają się doń pracodawcy oraz różnorakie instytucje. Po Gdyni jeździ już „odważny autobus”, plakaty zachęcające do samobadania będą też w trolejbusie i dwóch składach SKM. Zrezygnowano natomiast z bezpłatnych badań USG. Częścią kampanii „Odważni wygrywają” będą m.in. sparingi: z drużyną koszykarzy Arki Gdynia w Gdynia Arena i rugbistami na stadionie rugby. W międzyczasie 17 listopada można się wybrać na trening ż żołnierzami elitarnej FORMOZy na plaży w Babich Dołach.
