Kaszubski zwyczaj „ścinania kani” wraca do łask – coraz częściej można go zobaczyć m.in. podczas sobótkowych zabaw. Jutro będzie przedstawiony m.in. w Kartuzach, Nadolu w gminie Gniewino i Dębkach w gminie Krokowa.
– Chcemy go przypomnieć i zademonstrować mieszkańcom ziemi kartuskiej – mówi dyrektor Muzeum Kaszubskiego w Kartuzach Barbara Kąkol.
„Ścinanie kani” to jeden z najbardziej niezwykłych obrzędów na Kaszubach. Drapieżnego ptaka jako uosobienie wszelkiego zła odpowiedzialnego m.in. za suszę czy inne nieszczęścia ścinano w obecności całej wsi – by odegnać zło i ku przestrodze. Widowisko w Kartuzach na rynku rozpocznie się o 18:00. O tej samej porze „ścinanie kani” będzie można obejrzeć w skansenie w Nadolu, a wcześniej – o 17:00 przy Rybaczówce w Dębkach obok wejścia na plażę nr 19.
