Nadchodzi gdyńskie Święto Morza – rozpocznie się 22 czerwca
Nadchodzi gdyńskie Święto Morza – obchody rozpoczną się 22 czerwca i potrwają trzy dni. Jednym z najważniejszych wydarzeń będzie odsłonięcie Pomnika Polski Morskiej przy Skwerze Kościuszki.
Ma on przypominać o morskiej tożsamości Gdyni, w charakterystycznym i często odwiedzanym przez gdynian i turystów punkcie miasta. Ten wyjątkowy monument to cześć oddana pokoleniom żeglarzy, marynarzy, rybaków, dokerów i stoczniowców, a także służbom morskim, twórcom opiewającym polskie morze oraz Marynarce Wojennej. Monument zostanie odsłonięty w niedzielę. Święto Morza w Gdyni to w sumie trzy dni pełne wyjątkowych uroczystości i wydarzeń związanych z historyczną, morską tożsamością miasta.
Na inaugurację 22 czerwca odbędą się m.in. bezpłatne rejsy na żaglowcu „Baltic Star” w akcji Pomorskiego Związku Żeglarskiego. Na Placu Kaszubskim będzie Zatoka Kultury – z wystawą zdjęć, kiermaszem dzieł kaszubskich twórców, specjałami naszej kuchni i kaszubskimi truskawkami. Pełny program trzydniowego Święta Morza opublikowano m.in. na stronie internetowej miasta Gdynia.
