Szpitalny Oddział Ratunkowy w Wejherowie po remoncie
Szpitalny Oddział Ratunkowy w Wejherowie jest większy i lepiej wyposażony. Oficjalną uroczystością zakończono tam remont. Jednym z celów było usprawnienie diagnostyki osób w stanie zagrożenia życia.
M.in. nie będzie ich trzeba wozić na pierwsze piętro by wykonać rentgenowskie zdjęcie. Powiększenie wejherowskiego SORu i zakup medycznego sprzętu kosztowały prawie 4 mln zł. Na tę sumę złożyły się ponad 3 mln zł unijnej dotacji i 360 tys. zł od samorządu województwa. – Resztę pokrył szpital – wylicza Andrzej Zieleniewski, wiceprezes zarządu spółki Szpitale Pomorskie, do której należy placówka w Wejherowie. Podkreślał pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk. Przypomniał, że szpital specjalistyczny w Wejherowie jest konsekwentnie modernizowany wspominając ostatnie inwestycje na kardiologii i kardiochirurgii. W ciągu trzech lat ma tam też powstać nowy blok operacyjny.
