W Kartuzach powstaną nowe przystanki autobusowe
W Kartuzach szpetna rampa kolejowa zostanie zburzona, a w jej miejscu powstaną przystanki autobusowe. Gmina nieodpłatnie przejęła w tym celu nieruchomości od Polskich Kolei Państwowych.
To budynek dawnej rampy kolejowej i teren dzierżawiony do tej pory od kolei, na którym znajduje się zbudowany przez gminę płatny parking. Przystanki autobusowe w miejsce rampy zostaną zbudowane w ramach powstającego w Kartuzach węzła integracyjnego. Umiejscowienie ich przy dworcu kolejowym ma być ułatwieniem dla pasażerów,. Dzięki temu też gmina mogła bezpłatnie przejąć nieruchomości od kolejowej spółki. W przypadku parkingu oznacza to oszczędności dla budżetu, bo tylko w tej kadencji za dzierżawę terenu przy dworcu zapłacono 50 tys zł – czytamy na internetowej stronie samorządu kartuzy.pl.
Gmina Kartuzy prowadzi obecnie rozmowy w sprawie przejęcia od PKP budynku przy ulicy Kolejowej. Zamierza wyremontować pustostan, pozyskując na ten cel dofinansowanie. W budynku znajdą swoje siedziby najważniejsze organizacje pozarządowe, będzie tam też dodatkowa przestrzeń dla kartuskiej Biblioteki.
