W Gdyni na Karwinach otwarto nowe przedszkole samorządowe. Mieści się w wyremontowanym pawilonie Szkoły Podstawowej nr 46.
– Przyjęliśmy setkę dzieci, w tym również te z rocznika 2015 – mówi Anna Neubauer, wicedyrektor ds.przedszkola Zespołu Szkolno-Przedszkolnego nr 4.
Przedszkole ma osobne wejście, od strony ul. Jana Brzechwy, co zapewnia dzieciom komfort i bezpieczeństwo. Przedszkole posiada także 4 sale dydaktyczne, 5 łazienek, w tym przystosowaną dla potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych, pokój terapii pedagogicznej, 2 szatnie oraz dwa pomieszczenia kuchenne. Otwarcie nowej przedszkolnej placówki jest wielowymiarowym wsparciem rodziny, mówi Beata Szadziul, pełnomocnik prezydenta Gdyni ds Rodziny. Łączny koszt inwestycji to prawie 2 mln złotych, które w całości pochodzą z miasta. To już kolejne przedszkole otwarte w Gdyni, od stycznia z samorządowej placówki korzystają mieszkańcy Wiczlina i Chwarzna.
