To nobilitacja dla Oddziału Neurologii – w wejherowskim szpitalu komentują przyznanie platynowego certyfikatu Angels. To międzynarodowy projekt, którego główną ideą jest poprawa jakości opieki nad pacjentami z udarem mózgu.

Oddział Neurologii z Pododdziałem Udarowym w Szpitalu Specjalistycznym w Wejherowie dołączył do tej inicjatywy. Co roku trafia tam ponad pół tysiąca chorych – zarówno z udarem niedokrwiennym, jak i krwotocznym. Po usprawnieniach, w tym szkoleniach i wprowadzeniu „telefonu udarowego” m.in. skrócono czas podania leku po przyjęciu pacjenta do szpitala. Oddział Neurologii w szpitalu w Wejherowie został uhonorowany certyfikatem Angels jako jeden z trzech wyróżnionych w Polsce w pierwszej edycji przyznawania tej nagrody.
