Nie zwolnimy tempa – zapowiedzieli w Rumi na podsumowaniu trzech lat tej kadencji. W tym czasie miejski samorząd pozyskał 56 mln zł dofinansowań.
– Osiągnęliśmy to dzięki dobrej organizacji pracy w urzędzie i podziałowi zadań – podkreśla burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny.
To pieniądze na inwestycje – jak zbudowane już drogi i chodniki za 18 mln zł, ale też projektowany węzeł przesiadkowy w Janowie. To także dotacje na walkę ze smogiem, rewitalizację miasta, działania proekologiczne czy edukację. Na konferencji w Stacji Kultura podkreślano, że rozwój Rumi jest możliwy dzięki dobrej współpracy. Zarówno z samorządami czy w ramach stowarzyszeń jak i z radą miasta, która w poprzednich kadencjach słynęła z konfliktów. – Ta współpraca przynosi wymierne efekty – mówi przewodniczący rady miasta Ariel Sinicki. Równolegle do pozyskiwania środków zewnętrznych i realizowania inwestycji w Rumi obniżono zadłużenie miasta z 51 do 34 milionów zł.
