W szkole w Szymbarku świętowano Dzień Kaszubskiej Żaby
Był to finał projektu badawczego uczniów gimnazjum i Kaszubskiego Instytutu Rozwoju. Młodzież przeprowadziła badania kaszubskich torfowisk i żyjących na nich organizmów.
Ich uzupełnieniem były zajęcia z biologiem i zoologiem. Prezentując wczoraj swoje wyniki, gimnazjaliści chcieli zachęcić młodszych kolegów do szanowania wody i kaszubskiej przyrody. Na realizację projektu Kaszubski Instytut Rozwoju pozyskał prawie 10 tys zł dofinansowania. Posłużyły na zakup dla szkoły m.in. mikroskopów, walizek ekobadacza i zestawów gier planszowych.
