Oddział Kardiochirurgii w szpitalu w Wejherowie oficjalnie otwarty
Nowoczesny oddział kardiochirurgii w Szpitalu Specjalistycznym w Wejherowie oficjalnie otwarty. Będzie mógł obsłużyć 600 pacjentów rocznie.
– To drugi oddział w naszym województwie, w którym mieszkańcy będą mogli znaleźć tak specjalistyczną opiekę – podkreśla pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk.
Budowa sali operacyjnej, sali wybudzeń z izolatką i zakup wyposażenia kosztowały ponad 8 mln złotych. Inwestycję w całości sfinansował samorząd województwa pomorskiego. Kardiochirurgia w Wejherowie przyjmuje pacjentów od października ubiegłego roku. W tym czasie wykonano 110 zabiegów jak by-passy wieńcowe, czy związane z chorobami osierdzia i nowotworami serca. – Nowy oddział znacząco poszerza naszą ofertę medyczną – mówi Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda, prezes spółki Szpitale Pomorskie do której należy placówka w Wejherowie. To kolejna inwestycja w wejherowskim szpitalu. Dwa lata temu wyremontowano tam oddział kardiologii, w ubiegłym roku kompleksowo zmodernizowano oddział pediatrii. W ciągu najbliższych trzech lat w Wejherowie ma powstać nowy blok operacyjny za ponad sto mln złotych.
