Schetynówka w Rumi jest już prawie ukończona
Jedna z kluczowych, tegorocznych inwestycji w Rumi – przebudowa skrzyżowania ulic Pomorskiej i Gdańskiej jest na ukończeniu. Od dzisiaj rondo wybudowane przy wsparciu z tzw. schetynówek jest już całkowicie przejezdne.
– Obecnie zostały już tylko prace wykończeniowe – informuje dyrektor Zarządu Drogowego dla powiatów puckiego i wejherowskiego Robert Lorbiecki.
O początku sierpnia przejazd przez ten odcinek był ograniczony. Budowa ronda to wspólne przedsięwzięcie samorządu miejskiego Rumi i wejherowskiego starostwa powiatowego. Całkowity koszt to 1 mln 300 tys złotych. – Dzięki dofinansowaniu niewielkim kosztem wyeliminowaliśmy problem najbardziej kolizyjnego skrzyżowania w mieście – mówi przewodniczący rady miejskiej Rumi Ariel Sinicki. Nowe rondo na skrzyżowaniu ulic Pomorskiej i Gdańskiej w Rumi będzie nosić imię rotmistrza Witolda Pileckiego – żołnierza Armii Krajowej, bohatera II wojny światowej, autora raportów o Holocauście.
