W Kościerzynie świętowano Światowy Dzień Walki z Cukrzycą
W Kościerzynie świętowano dzisiaj Światowy Dzień Walki z Cukrzycą.
– To działanie również integracyjne – podkreśla organizatorka kościerskiego spotkania Czesława Kulas ze Szpitala Specjalistycznego w Kościerzynie.
W szpitalu przygotowano darmowe badania cukru i ciśnienia, a także wykłady dotyczące cukrzycy, jej zapobiegania oraz zróżnicowanej diety. W listopadzie z okazji Światowego Dnia Walki z Cukrzycą na całym Pomorzu organizowane są spotkania edukacyjne i darmowe badania poziomu cukru. Mówiła wiceprzewodnicząca sejmiku województwa pomorskiego Hanna Zych-Cisoń. Na Pomorzu na cukrzycę choruje ponad 50 tysięcy ludzi.
