Wejherowski ZUK został Ekostrategiem 2017
Za wybiegającą wiele lat naprzód wizję ekologicznego rozwoju to prestiżowe wyróżnienie przyznano na Polskim Kongresie Przedsiębiorczości w Zielonej Górze. Uznanie zdobył pomysł uruchomienia w Wejherowie Ekofabryki.
– Pomysł podpatrzony za granicą w Polsce jest nowością – mówi prezes wejherowskiego ZUK Roman Czerwiński.
Ma być ona centrum recyklingu, edukacyjnym, ogniskową działalności organizacji pozarządowych i wyznacznikiem nowych trendów w gospodarce komunalnej. Budowa Ekofabryki ma ruszyć w połowie przyszłego roku na terenie dawnej fabryki drzewnej. – Ochrona tego zabytku jest dodatkowym walorem tej inwestycji – podkreśla prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hilderandt. Budowa Ekofabryki w Wejherowie będzie kosztować ponad 11 mln złotych. 70 procent tej kwoty pokryje unijne dofinansowanie.
