Modernizacją dworca i peronów na stacji Gdańsk Główny
Na stacji Gdańsk Główny podróżni muszą się poruszać z większą uwagą – w związku z trwającą modernizacją PKP PLK zapowiada zamknięcie trzech przejść, w tym tunelu do dworca autobusowego.
– Jednak dla bezpieczeństwa podróżnych modernizowane przejścia trzeba wyłączyć z użytkowania – wyjaśnia rzecznik prasowy PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe Mirosław Siemieniec.
Inwestycja kosztująca w sumie 62 mln zł ma podnieść komfort obsługi pasażerów – będą wyższe perony, pełniejsza informacja, dodatkowe windy, cztery schody ruchome, zmodernizowane przejścia. Prace na peronie i torach rozpoczęto we wrześniu. W większości prowadzone są nocą, a pociągi są odprawiane na czas. Dworzec Główny w Gdańsku ma być zmodernizowany do 2020-go roku, nie zatracając przy tym swojego historycznego charakteru. Podziemne przejście ze stacji Gdańsk Główny do dworca autobusowego ma być zamknięte 22 listopada.
