„Parafia parafii” – akcja pomocy osobom poszkodowanym w nawałnicy
Parafie w diecezji pelplińskiej jednoczą się w akcji pomocy poszkodowanym w wyniku sierpniowej nawałnicy. W akcji pod nazwą „Parafia parafii” przekazywana jest pomoc finansowa i materialna.
– Ma to być pomoc długofalowa – podkreśla proboszcz, ks. Antoni Bączkowski.
Księża i organizacje parafialne organizują zbiórki datków oraz potrzebnych rzeczy dla 36 parafii poszkodowanych sierpniowym żywiołem. Każdej z nich przydzielono pomoc innych parafii. Najwięcej, bo aż 18, pomaga mieszkańcom z Brus, po 14 wspiera parafian z Rytla i Nowej Cerkwii i po 12 parafian z Silna i Dziemian. W akcję zaangażowała się m.in. parafia św. Trójcy z Kościerzyny. Dotychczas Caritas diecezji pelplińskiej przekazała poszkodowanym ponad 3 mln złotych: ze zbiórki datków w kościołach diecezji, od Caritas Polska oraz innych diecezji w Polsce. – Teraz skupiamy się na pomocy konkretnym rodzinom – podkreśla ks. Bączkowski. Jak policzono, w diecezji pelplińskiej kataklizm zniszczył 80 domów, uszkodził 1828 budynków mieszkalnych i 2316 obiektów gospodarczych.
