I Liceum Ogólnokształcące w Wejherowie działa już 160 lat
Podwójne święto obchodzili w sobotę nauczyciele z I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego w Wejherowie – w Dniu Edukacji Narodowej obchodzili także 160-lecie placówki.
Jak podkreślała dyrektor placówki Bożena Conradi – w murach „Sobieskiego” wykształcenie zdobywali m.in politycy jak poseł Jerzy Budnik, artyści jak Maciej Miecznikowski czy uznani naukowcy. Gratulacje i życzenia składała wejherowska starosta Gabriela Lisius. I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Króla Jana III Sobieskiego rząd pruski utworzył w Wejherowie w 1857 roku jako Królewsko – Katolickie Progimnazjum.
