Po plaży między Jastarnią a Władysławowem będą biegać w sobotę maratończycy
Maraton i półmaraton po bałtyckiej plaży przebiegną w sobotę zawodnicy z Kaszub, Polski i zagranicy.
Trasa z nawrotami przebiegać będzie przez Jastarnię i Władysławowo, a dla półmaratonu – Juratę i Kuźnicę. To jedyny w Polsce i drugi w Europie maraton odbywający się w całości po plaży. Zawodnicy biegną po piasku obmywanym przez fale – jak po ubitej, gruntowej drodze. Dla tych, którzy nie czują się na siłach by pokonać 42 km czy też nie chcą się eksploatować przed jesiennymi maratonami, przygotowano dystans o połowę krótszy. Dodatkowo dla dzieci będą biegi na dystansach 200 i 500 metrów. W trosce o bezpieczeństwo zawodników i dla sprawnego przeprowadzenia zawodów wprowadzono limity – 150 miejsc na maraton i 200 na półmaraton. Na listę startową przez internet wpisało się prawie 300 osób, dopisać się będzie można w biurze zawodów jutro i w dniu imprezy. Start 26 sierpnia o 09:00 w Jastarni na plaży na wysokości Domu Zdrojowego, godzinę później biegać będą najmłodsi. Także w Jastarni o 17:00 dekoracja zwycięzców 8. Bałtyckiego Maratonu i 6. Bałtyckiego Półmaratonu. Wręczenie nagród odbędzie się w porcie, połączone z festynem na zakończenie wakacji.
