W województwie pomorskim trwa usuwanie skutków wichury
Pięć ofiar śmiertelnych, ogromne obszary zniszczonego lasu, uszkodzone linie energetyczne – to bilans piątkowej nawałnicy w województwie pomorskim.
– Usuwanie wiatrołomów może potrwać nawet kilka miesięcy – mówi rzecznik prasowy komendy wojewódzkiej PSP w Gdańsku – Łukasz Płusa.
Do najtragiczniejszych zdarzeń doszło w powiecie chojnickim w miejscowości Swornegacie, Zielona Huta, Suszek i Zapora. Zginęło 5 osób – dwoje dzieci, które przebywały na obozie harcerskim, dwóch mężczyzn przygniecionych przez drzewa i kobieta, która zginęła w domu gdy zawaliła się część dachu. Strażacy zanotowali ponad 2 i pół tysiąca interwencji, ale nadal walczą ze skutkami nawałnicy. Wiatr był tak silny, że łamał drzewa jak zapałki. W Brusach krajobraz wygląda jak po bitwie – opisuje pani Teresa. Piątkowa wichura pozbawiła prądu sto tysięcy gospodarstw. Do wczorajszego wieczora energetycy usunęli 3/4 awarii. Sytuację pogarsza utrudniony dojazd – mówi rzecznik prasowy grupy Energa Operator – Lidia Zuba.
Leśnicy szacują straty i ostrzegają, że wchodzenie do lasu może być bardzo niebezpieczne. W powiecie kościerskim obowiązuje zakaz wstępu do lasu, podobne restrykcje mają być też wprowadzone w powiecie kartuskim.
