Chcą się przyłączyć do budowy szlaku rowerowego z Berlina do Kłajpedy
Do budowy międzynarodowego szlaku rowerowego z Berlina do Kłajpedy chcą przyłączyć się pomorscy samorządowcy. Trasa na Pomorzu ma przebiegać m.in. przez powiat bytowski i kościerski. Wczoraj w tej sprawie dyskutowano na konferencji w Kościerzynie.
– To przyczyni się do pozyskania dodatkowych środków na jego budowę – mówiła wczoraj Marta Chełkowska, dyrektor Departamentu Turystki Urzędu Marszałkowskiego w Gdańsku.
Pomorski odcinek trasy ma liczyć 230 km, a jego uruchomienie ma kosztować blisko 80 mln złotych. Szlak wstępnie nazwany „Jeziorną Trasą Rowerową”, ma być też częścią europejskiej sieci szlaków rowerowych EuroVelo. Jeziorna Trasa Rowerowa ma przebiegać od Miastka, przez Bytów, Studzienice i dalej gminy: Dziemiany, Kościerzyna, Stara Kiszewa i Liniewo w kierunku Skarszew i Malborka. – To dla nas byłby dobry impuls do rozwoju turystyki – ocenia starosta bytowski Leszek Waszkiewicz. Samorządowcy chcą w najbliższym czasie podpisać list intencyjny w sprawie budowy Jeziornej Trasy Rowerowej. Jej realizacja, jak oceniano, jest możliwa w ciągu 5-6 najbliższych lat.
