Pozytywna Szkoła Podstawowa w Gdańsku Kokoszkach nie zostanie zamknięta
Pozytywna Szkoła Podstawowa w Gdańsku Kokoszkach prowadzona przez pucką fundację nie zostanie zamknięta. Minister edukacji Anna Zalewska zakończyła trzyletni spór wokół placówki.
Szefowa resortu uchyliła decyzję pomorskiej kurator oświaty w sprawie unieważnienia zezwolenia na prowadzenie szkoły przez fundację Pozytywne Inicjatywy. Zezwolenie to wydał trzy lata temu prezydent Gdańska, a jego decyzję natychmiast oprotestowali związkowcy z Solidarności. Wyjaśnia prezes fundacji Pozytywne Inicjatywy Arkadiusz Gawrych. W kwietniu pomorska kurator Monika Kończyk uznała, że zezwolenie władz Gdańska jest nieważne, bo prywatna organizacja nie może prowadzić placówki wybudowanej za publiczne pieniądze. Fundacja zwróciła się z prośbą o arbitraż do ministerstwa edukacji. Pozytywna Szkoła Podstawową w Gdańsku Kokoszkach jest jedyną w Polsce szkołą publiczną prowadzoną przez prywatną fundację. Uczy się w niej 1150 uczniów.
