Noc Świętojańska to na Kaszubach ścinanie kani
Sobótkowe ognie i koncerty plenerowe szykują na jutro w wielu gminach na Kaszubach. Coraz więcej świętojańskich imprez w plenerze ma w swoim programie pradawny kaszubski obrzęd ludowy – rytualne stracenie ptaka uznawanego dawniej za symbol zła.
– Chcemy sięgnąć do obrzędowości kaszubskiej by ją twórczo przetworzyć i nadać nowy wymiar – wyjaśnia Aleksandra Pitra.
Kanię zastępuje się słomianą bądź glinianą kukłą. Na happening z kanią w roli głównej do Dębek razem z gminą Krokowa zaprasza Fundacja im. księdza profesora Włodzimierza Sedlaka. Happening Ścinanie Kani odbędzie się 23 czerwca w Dębkach przy Rybaczówce, czyli przy wejściu na plażę nr 19. Początek o 18:00.
