Węzeł przesiadkowy i połączenie z Gdynią i gminą Kosakowo w Rumi
W Rumi sposobem na rozładowanie ruchu samochodów w mieście ma być węzeł w Janowie. Jest też plan zbudowania drogi przez Rumię z Gdyni do Kosakowa. Region się rozwija, stąd potrzeba nowych rozwiązań komunikacyjnych – mówił dziś w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby burmistrz Michał Pasieczny.
Miasto pozyskało ostatnio 13 mln zł na węzeł przesiadkowy, który powstanie przy remontowanym przystanku SKM w Rumi Janowo. Po obu stronach torów powstaną parkingi, ścieżki rowerowe, chodniki. Kierowców najbardziej ucieszy tunel do krajowej szóstki. Rumia współpracuje też z czterema samorządami na rzecz budowy tzw. Popiołówki – nowego połączenia z Gdynią i gminą Kosakowo. Ma udrożnić ruch i skomunikować tereny przeznaczone na inwestycje. W sprawie Popiołówki podpisano ostatnio nowy list intencyjny. Do Rumi, Gdyni i Kosakowo w staraniach o budowę drogi dołączyły powiaty: pucki i wejherowski. Rozmowy z burmistrzem Rumi Michałem Pasiecznym posłuchać można jeszcze na radiokaszebe.pl.
