Puchar Arki zostaje w Gdyni
W 37 edycji regat o Mistrzostwo Polski Juniorów w klasie Laser trofeum w klasyfikacji grupowej wywalczyli zawodnicy z Miejskiego Klubu Żeglarskiego Arka.
– Szukaliśmy dla zawodników nowych wyzwań – wyjaśnia komandor MKŻ Arka Andrzej Lutomski.
Regaty zaliczane do Pucharu Polski oraz punktujące w eliminacjach do Mistrzostw Europy i Świata klasy Laser po raz pierwszy rozegrane zostały we Władysławowie przy współpracy z tamtejszym Centrum Kultury, Promocji i Sportu. Do rywalizacji stanęło łącznie 193 zawodników w kategoriach do 19. i 21. roku życia, Laser 4,7 oraz Radial. Żeglarze chwalili stabilna pogodę. – Bardzo dobrze spisali się też organizatorzy – ocenia olimpijczyk Maciej Grabowski. W najważniejszej kategorii indywidualnej, olimpijskiej klasie Laser Standard zwyciężył Filip Ciszkiewicz, również zawodnik zwycięskiego MKŻ Arka.
