Powiaty pucki i wejherowski dołączają do starań o budowę tzw. Drogi Trzech Powiatów. Podpisano list intencyjny w sprawie partnerskiej współpracy.Takie pismo w listopadzie ubiegłego roku sygnowali już przedstawiciele Rumi, Gdyni i gminy Kosakowo.
– To zaktywizowało by ogromne tereny inwestycyjne – mówi burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny.
Chodzi o budowę trasy w śladzie tzw. Popiołówki – drogi technicznej elektrociepłowni. Miałaby biec równolegle do Hutniczej – od ulicy Puckiej w Gdyni, z przecięciem Dębogórskiej w Rumi do ulicy 1 Dywizji Wojska Polskiego w Kosakowie. Powiaty pucki i wejherowski dołączyły do współpracy by m.in przyspieszyć budowę Drogi Trzech Powiatów i ułatwić starania o dofinansowania zewnętrzne. – To projekt korzystny dla rozwoju regionu – tłumaczy pucki starosta Jarosław Białk. Koszt budowy drogi przez podmokłe, torfowe tereny szacowana jest nawet na 50 mln złotych. Samorządy chciałyby ją ukończyć w ciągu pięciu lat.
