Ponad 19 tysięcy dzieci rozpoczęło naukę języka kaszubskiego
Ponad 19 tysięcy dzieci po wakacyjnej przerwie rozpoczęło naukę języka kaszubskiego. Najwięcej, bo 83 procent w szkołach podstawowych, 13 procent w gimnazjach i 4 procent w szkołach ponadgimnazjalnych.
– Dzieci mają trzy lekcje języka kaszubskiego w tygodniu, w tym jedną przeznaczoną na wycieczki – opowiada Iwona Makurat, która rozpoczęła pracę jako nauczycielka kaszubskiego w szkole w Skorzewie.
Największe zainteresowanie, jak co roku, jest w powiecie kartuskim. Na drugim miejscu plasuje się powiat wejherowski, na trzecim bytowski. W dalszej kolejności pod względem liczby dzieci uczących się języka kaszubskiego są powiaty kościerski, pucki, słupski, chojnicki i lęborski. W Skorzewie kaszubskiego uczy się 40 procent uczniów. W niektórych szkołach wciąż można zapisywać się na lekcje języka kaszubskiego do końca września.
