Międzynarodowy Festiwal Folkloru w Brusach – od 27 do 31 lipca
„Kaszubskie Spotkania z Folklorem Świata” – pod taką nazwą w ostatnim tygodniu lipca w Brusach i okolicznych miejscowościach zostanie otwarty Międzynarodowy Festiwal Folkloru, który na stałe ma zostać wpisany do życia kulturalnego naszego regionu.
W dniach 27 do 31 lipca 2016 r. na scenach Brus, Chojnic, Konarzyn, Kościerzyny, Wdzydz Kiszewskich, Wiela i Wielkiego Klincza wystąpią barwne grupy folklorystyczne z zagranicy: Belgi, Białorusi, Czarnogóry, Grecji, Indonezji, Litwy, Rumunii, a także polskie zespoły folklorystyczne: Zespół Ludowy „Ożarowiacy” z Ożarowa Mazowieckiego, Kaszubski Zespół Pieśni i Tańca „Bytów” z Bytowa, Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Kościerzyna i Młoda Kościerzyna z Kościerzyny, Kaszuby z Wiela i Karsina, Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Ziemi Chojnickiej Kaszuby z Chojnic, Zespół Pieśni i Tańca „Bławatki” z Chojnic, Dziecięco-Młodzieżowy Zespół Folklorystyczny „Kaszëbe” z Chojnic, Zespół Folklorystyczny „Kaszubskie Nuty” z Nowego Klincza, oraz Kaszubski Zespół Folklorystyczny „Krëbane”, „Dzôtczi”, „Purtki” i „Gwiżdże” z Brus.
„Kaszubskie Spotkania z Folklorem Świata” rozpoczną się barwnym korowodem, który 27 lipca wieczorem (godz. 19.00) przejdzie ulicami Wiela wprost na scenę przy jeziorze, gdzie odbędzie się KONCERT INAUGURACYJNY.
Przez następnych kilka dni nasi goście z zagranicy, głębi kraju oraz gospodarze będą występować równolegle na kilku scenach w całym regionie. Niewątpliwie będzie to wspaniała okazja, by podziwiać kulturę z różnych miejsc kuli ziemskiej, a jednocześnie zaprezentować i zareklamować nasz folklor.
Festiwalowe dni bogate będą w szereg zróżnicowanych, niezwykle atrakcyjnych imprez towarzyszących. Niewątpliwie dużą atrakcją festiwalu stanowił będzie koncert Krzysztofa Krawczyka z zespołem, który odbędzie się 29 lipca na Stadionie Miejskim w Brusach. Ponadto podczas Festiwalu odbędą się imprezy towarzyszące. Miłośnicy ludowej twórczości artystycznej i kultury kaszubskiej w dniu 31 lipca będą mogli się spotkać podczas JARMARKU ZABORSKIEGO. Od godziny 13.00 na Stadionie Miejskim w Brusach będzie można zobaczyć różnorodne kiermasze oraz pokazy sztuki i kuchni ludowej.
Festiwal zakończy się 31 lipca KONCERTEM FINAŁOWYM na Stadionie Miejskim w Brusach. Poprzedzony on będzie ekumeniczną Mszą Świętą w kościele pw. Wszystkich Świętych w Brusach o godz. 19.00 oraz uroczystym przejściem wszystkich uczestników w korowodzie ulicami miasta w stronę stadionu.
