Rozgorzała dyskusja o przyszłości PODR
Rozgorzała dyskusja o przyszłości Pomorskiego Ośrodka Doradztwa Rolniczego. Ma być on wspólnie z 15 innymi Ośrodkami w kraju przejęty przez administrację rządową. Przeciwni temu pomysłowi są między innymi samorządowcy województwa pomorskiego.
Ministerstwo Rolnictwa swoją decyzję tłumaczy chęcią ujednolicenia systemu doradztwa rolniczego w Polsce, a także większego wsparcia finansowego i merytorycznego. Obecnie za funkcjonowanie ODR odpowiadają marszałkowie województw, którzy sprzeciwiają się proponowanym przez rząd zmianom. Wśród nich jest pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk.
Ośrodki Doradztwa Rolniczego podlegały już Ministerstwu przed 1998 rokiem. Nic złego wtedy się nie działo, więc może te zmiany będą słuszne – mówi Zenon Bistram prezes Pomorskiej Izby Rolniczej. Ministerstwo Rolnictwa planuje weryfikację zadań Ośrodków, wprowadzenie akredytacji dla prywatnych podmiotów doradczych, a także zmiany w systemie szkoleń doradców. Przejęcie Ośrodków ma nastąpić od 1 sierpnia.
