Zapisz dziecko na język kaszubski – to już ostatni dzwonek
Nieco ponad tydzień pozostał rodzicom, którzy chcą zapisać swoje dziecko na język kaszubski. Odpowiednie wnioski należy złożyć u dyrektora szkoły do 30 kwietnia.
– To ważne, aby rodzice wiedzieli, że mają do tego prawo – podkreśla autorka podręczników do języka kaszubskiego Lucyna Sorn.
Nauka języka kaszubskiego odbywa się w wymiarze 3 godzin tygodniowo, w tym jedna godzina przeznaczona jest na wycieczki i warsztaty dotyczące kultury, historii i geografii Kaszub. To przedmiot dla osób chętnych, dlatego rodzice muszą u dyrektora szkoły złożyć odpowiedni wniosek, w którym deklarują chęć nauki ucznia w całym okresie edukacji w danej szkole.
Samorządy na naukę języka kaszubskiego otrzymują dodatkową subwencję oświatową. Aby uzyskać większe kwoty, w niektórych szkołach wprowadza się limity uczniów przyjmowanych na język kaszubski. Jest to niezgodne z prawem. Dlatego przy składaniu wniosków u dyrektorów szkół najlepiej poprosić o potwierdzenie dla siebie wpłynięcia pisma na kserokopii. Nieprawidłowości należy zgłosić w Kuratorium Oświaty lub w Zrzeszeniu Kaszubsko – Pomorskim.
