Inspektorzy przypominają, że w wykazie grzybów dopuszczonych do obrotu lub produkcji znajdują się 44 gatunki. Reszta to grzyby trujące z blaszkami o białym zabarwieniu. Do grzybów trujących należą wszystkie muchomory,w tym muchomor sromotnikowy – 50 gram tego grzyba może spowodować śmierć dorosłego człowieka. Z pomocy grzyboznawcy i klasyfikatorów grzybów skorzystać można w kościerskim sanepidzie codziennie od godziny 8:00 do 10:00.
