Policja rozpoczyna akcję „Bezpieczna droga do szkoły”
Wraz z pierwszym dzwonkiem policja rozpoczyna akcję „Bezpieczna droga do szkoły”. Wzmożone patrole będzie można spotkać w okolicach szkół i na drogach dojazdowych.
Mundurowi będą sprawdzać także czy przejścia dla pieszych są właściwie oznakowane oraz czy kierowcy i piesi respektują zasady bezpieczeństwa w ruchu drogowym. Kontrole są pierwszym etapem działań. W następnym policjanci z prewencji i drogówki będą odwiedzać szkoły, sprawdzać czy dzieci zostały przez rodziców przygotowane do bezpiecznego poruszania się po drogach i uczyć najmłodszych podstawowych zasad. Policja apeluje też do opiekunów, by nauczyć dzieci którą drogą ma chodzić do szkoły i jak należy przechodzić przez przejście dla pieszych. Bardzo ważne jest też wyposażenie dziecka w odblaski.
Mundurowi przypominają, że zgodnie z obowiązującymi od roku przepisami pieszy bez względu na wiek poruszający się po zmroku w terenie niezabudowanym ma obowiązek używać elementów odblaskowych w sposób widoczny dla innych użytkowników dróg.
