Warto uważnie kompletować szkolną wyprawkę – sprzedawca nie musi bowiem wymienić np. podręcznika, jeśli nie jest on wadliwy.
Rodzice szturmują księgarnie, kupują plecaki, tenisówki, stroje na w-f – początek roku szkolnego za pasem. Najlepiej na takie zakupy wybrać się z dzieckiem, żeby przymierzyło buty i wybrało kolory czy grafiki zdobiące przybory szkolne. Sprzedawca nie ma bowiem obowiązku przyjąć rzeczy, które nie trafiły w gust ucznia albo okazały się mu niepotrzebne. Jeśli zakupione rzeczy posiadają wadę – można je reklamować w ciągu dwóch lat od momentu zakupu. Reklamacji podlegają także rzeczy używane, np. podręczniki kupione w antykwariacie – jednak sprzedawca może skrócić czas na reklamację do jednego roku.
