Ponad 17,5 tysiąca dzieci uczyło się języka kaszubskiego
17585 dzieci i młodzieży uczyło się w tym roku szkolnym języka kaszubskiego. Najwięcej w powiecie kartuskim, wejherowskim i bytowskim.
Z tej liczby aż 80 proc. to uczniowie podstawówek, 15,5 proc. – gimnazjów i tylko 4,5 proc. – szkół średnich. Jak wynika z danych Kuratorium Oświaty najwięcej liczbowo uczniów korzystało z nauki języka kaszubskiego w powiecie kartuskim, bo prawie 4 tysiące. Na drugim miejscu z liczbą ponad 2 tysięcy był powiat wejherowski a na trzecim powiat bytowski, gdzie kaszubskiego uczyło się półtora tysiąca uczniów. W dalszej kolejności są powiat kościerski, pucki, lęborski i słupski. Przy okazji zakończenia roku szkolnego, sprawdziliśmy czego nauczyli się uczniowie języka kaszubskiego w szkole w Baninie w powiecie kartuskim.
W kończącym się roku szkolnym języka kaszubskiego uczono łącznie w 393 szkołach, w tym 291 podstawówkach, 112 gimnazjach i 27 szkołach średnich.
