Policja ostrzej będzie walczyć z piratami na drodze
Za półtora tygodnia wchodzą w życie nowe przepisy o odbieraniu prawa jazdy.Dokument będzie można stracić już od 17 maja jeśli kierowca w terenie zabudowanym przekroczy prędkość o 50km/h.
– Zmiana przepisów to odpowiedź na wieloletnie apele policji o zaostrzeniu prawa wobec piratów drogowych – podkreśla komendant policji z Kościerzyny Andrzej Czaja.
Prawo jazdy będzie mu odebrane na 3 miesiące. Jeśli w tym czasie kierowca będzie prowadził auto bez uprawnień, zakaz zostanie przedłużony o kolejne 3 miesiące. W przypadku ponownego zatrzymania starosta wyda decyzję o całkowitym cofnięciu uprawnień. Nowe przepisy wejdą w życie 17 maja. Zgodnie z nimi prawo jazdy będzie zatrzymane również kierowcy, który przewozi większą niż dozwolona liczbę pasażerów w pojeździe. Dotkliwsze kary będą też czekały na kierowców przyłapanych na jeździe pod wpływem alkoholu: będą oni mieli obowiązek instalacji w swoich samochodów blokad alkoholowych, będą też płacili spore kary finansowe a w przypadku recydywy prawo jazdy zostanie im odebrane dożywotnio.
