77 proc. mieszkańców gminy Puck segreguje śmieci
Zwiększa się świadomość ekologiczna mieszkańców gminy Puck. Już 77 proc. z nich segreguje śmieci. A gmina wprowadza do tego finansowe zachęty.
W ostatnich latach zdecydowanie zwiększyła się też liczba odbieranych od mieszkańców śmieci, z 3 do ponad 5 tysięcy ton rocznie. Mieszkańcy za niesegregowane śmieci od osoby płacą 14 zł i połowę tego jeśli będą je segregować. Do tego zdecydowane ulgi wprowadzono dla rodzin wielodzietnych. Rodziny z trójką dzieci, za każde zapłacą 4 złote miesięcznie a powyżej czwórki – za każde złotówkę.
– To zachęca do segregacji i dbania o środowisko, choć wciąż są ludzie, którzy wyrzucają śmieci do lasu – mówi wójt gminy Puck Tadeusz Puszkarczuk.
Od stycznia w gminie Puck wywozem śmieci zajmuje się nowa firma konsorcjum Lewicki i Skojan, która wygrała przetarg na najbliższe 3 lata. Władze zachęcają również mieszkańców do skorzystania ze zbiórki odpadów gabarytowych, która odbędzie się 25 kwietnia.
