Specjaliści namawiają do produkcji wołowiny
Produkcja wołowiny kulinarnej alternatywą dla bydła mlecznego i trzody chlewnej – przekonują rolników specjaliści z organizacji rolniczych.
Wczoraj w Kościerzynie spotkali się na piątej już konferencji dotyczącej hodowli bydła mięsnego. A tą na Pomorzu zajmuje się jedynie tysiąc gospodarstw. Powodem jest nadal niska opłacalność hodowli. Chociaż ceny wołowiny w sklepach sięgają nawet 100 zł za kilogram, a spożycie na jednego mieszkańca w Polsce wynosi jedynie półtora kilograma rocznie.
– Sami rolnicy też nie są do końca przekonani do hodowli bydła mięsnego mówi Helena Artyszuk z Pomorskiego Ośrodka Doradztwa Rolniczego.
Hodowcy bydła mięsnego z Pomorza chcą się zrzeszyć w grupę producencką, dzięki czemu będą szukać lepszych rynków zbytu i uzyskiwać większą cenę za mięso. Do tego mogą skorzystać z nowych dopłat unijnych – mówi Łukasz Korcz Landowski z Agencji Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa w Gdyni.
