Zamiast dziur i błota, mieszkańcy ulicy Towarowej w Kościerzynie mają już nową drogę. To 2,5 km asfaltu z chodnikami i infrastrukturą podziemną. Prace wykonano w ramach Narodowego Programu Przebudowy Dróg Lokalnych za ponad 5 mln zł. To strategiczna droga prowadząca do skansenu Parowozownia i wielu firm, które mają tu swoje siedziby. Inwestycję wczoraj oficjalnie otwarto, z czego przede wszystkim cieszyli się mieszkańcy. Inwestycję otwarto, choć prace budowlańców mają tam potrwać do końca listopada. W ten sposób z mieszkańcami nową inwestycją pożegnał się dotychczasowy burmistrz Zdzisław Czucha, który nie dostał się do II tury wyborów.
