– W naszym województwie od piątku do niedzieli bezpieczeństwa strzegło tysiąc policjantów drogówki wpieranych przez 2 i pół tysiąca kolegów z prewencji oraz żandarmerię czy straże miejskie. Do 15 wypadków doszło w ciągu ostatnich 3 dni na pomorskich drogach, jeden z nich był śmiertelny. Wynika z podsumowania policyjnej akcji „Znicz”. Coroczna, związana z dniem Wszystkich Świętych i Zaduszkami akcja, zaangażowała niemałe siły policyjne. Przez 3 dni na pomorskich drogach doszło do 15 wypadków drogowych, w których 22 osoby zostały ranne, a jedna zginęła. Był to młody mężczyzna, który zginął na miejscu po tym jak przeciął lewy pas ruchu i uderzył w drzewo. Od piątku do niedzieli zatrzymano też 29 nietrzeźwych kierujących. Policyjne statystyki pokazują, że akcja „znicz” przebiegła spokojniej od ubiegłoroczne. Jako bezpieczniejszy ocenia tegoroczny świąteczny weekend także Komenda Główna Policji – mimo że w całym kraju przez 3 dni zginęło 20 osób, 252 zostały ranne i zatrzymano 910 pijanych kierowców.
