82 wnioski o szacowanie strat spowodowanych suszą złożyli rolnicy w gminie Puck. Tak jak na całych Kaszubach słońce wypaliło tam szczególnie uprawy zbóż jarych i trochę mniej ozimych.
– Skala strat nie jest jednak tak duża pomorski wojewoda ogłosił stan klęski żywiołowej, o co wnioskowaliśmy – mówi wójt gminy Puck Tadeusz Puszkarczuk.
Największe straty są na słabych glebach, w okolicy Mechowa, Leśniewa, Domatowa i Domatówka. Na 82 wnioskach dotyczących zniszczeń w zbożach najprawdopodobniej się skończy, bo w gminie Puck ruszyły już żniwa. Nadal natomiast nie wiadomo, jak susza wpłynie na przykład na uprawy ziemniaków. Po oszacowaniu szkód można ubiegać się o tzw. kredyt klęskowy. Agencja Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa spłaca w nim za rolników część odsetek.
