46 finał konkursu „Rodnô Mòwa” odbędzie się w ten weekend w Chmielnie. Tradycyjnie zjeżdżają tam zwycięzcy eliminacji na szczeblach gminnych i powiatowych. Idea zorganizowania konkursu recytatorskiego literatury kaszubskiej zrodziła się bowiem w pobliskiej Łączyńskiej Hucie – w 1972 roku.
Wtedy zaprezentowali się uczniowie trzech lokalnych szkół, rok później było to 12 placówek, dziś to już konkurs o zasięgu wojewódzkim. Jego celem jest popularyzacja rodzimej literatury, tradycji i pielęgnowanie mowy naszych ”starków”. Każdy z uczestników musi zaprezentować wybrany wiersz i fragment prozy – wyjaśnia współorganizator i prezes oddziału ZKP w Chmielnie Brygida Michalewicz.
Finał odbędzie się w dniach 27 – 28 maja. Sobota upłynie na konkursowych przesłuchaniach, wieczorem uczestnicy spotkają się z literatem ks. prof. Janem Walkuszem. Uroczyste podsumowanie nastąpi w niedzielę – po mszy św. o 11:00.
