Powiat wejherowski wspiera ochronę środowiska
150 tysięcy złotych podzieliło wejherowskie starostwo pomiędzy 10 działających w powiecie organizacji społecznych. Pieniądze z mandatów i opłat za korzystanie ze środowiska zostaną przeznaczone na jego ochronę.
– To bardzo efektywnie działające jednostki – podkreśla wejherowska starosta powiatowa Gabriela Lisius.
50 tys zł zainkasował Wejherowski Klub Sportowy Gryf na utrzymanie zieleni na stadionie. W sumie 70 tysięcy trafiło do parafii w Sychowie i Luzinie na montaż instalacji fotowoltaicznych, a 10 tysięcy na konserwację kanałów do Spółki Wodnej Kniewo. Reszta trafiła do koła Polskiego Związku Wędkarskiego z Rumi oraz 5 oddziałów Społecznej Straży Rybackiej z Gdyni, Gniewina, Wejherowa i Redy. Strażnicy kupią także nowe umundurowanie i łodzie patrolowe. – Każde wsparcie poszerza nasze możliwości reagowania – podkreśla prezes Zarządu Okręgu Gdańsk PZW Mieczysław Górski. W tym roku wejherowski samorząd powiatowy zarezerwował na ochronę środowiska łącznie ponad 600 tys. złotych. Połowę tej kwoty przeznaczy na zagospodarowanie terenu wokół powiatowej biblioteki, 100 tys.złotych na nowe nasadzenia zieleni.
