Z Kościerzyny do Chojnic zamiast pociągów jeżdżą autobusy
Autobusy zastąpiły pociągi na trasie z Kościerzyny do Chojnic i dalej do Lipki Krajeńskiej. Modernizację dwóch kolejowych linii rozpoczęły Polskie Linie Kolejowe.
Będą kosztować 15 mln zł i zapewnią sprawniejszy przejazd pociągów z Chojnic do Kościerzyny i do Piły. Ma temu służyć wymiana podkładów i szyn na linii 211 łączącej Chojnice z Brusami oraz nr 203 między Chojnicami a Wierzchowem Człuchowskim. Łącznie modernizacja obejmie 16 km tras kolejowych. Wyremontowane zostaną dwa wiadukty kolejowe: w Lipuszu i Chojnicach. Poprawi się też bezpieczeństwo na 23 przejazdach kolejowo – drogowych. Po wymianie torów kierowcy płynniej przejadą po nowej nawierzchni m.in. w Brusach. Prace i utrudnienia dla pasażerów potrwają do 07 czerwca.
