W Rumi brak chętnych firm do modernizacji targowiska. Miejski samorząd przeprowadza drugi przetarg na wykonawcę prac.
– Na razie brak jednak chętnych do ich wykonania – mówi przewodniczący Rady Miejskiej Rumi Ariel Sinicki.
Na placu targowym przy Dębogórskiej powstaną zadaszone wiaty, zaplecze biurowe, sanitariaty, oświetlenie i monitoring. Prace miały się rozpocząć i zakończyć jeszcze w tym roku. Rëmsczi Rënk To miejsce o długiej tradycji. Samorządowcy liczą, że nowa jakość zachęci do korzystania z niego kolejnych sprzedawców i klientów. Na modernizację targowiska w Rumi samorząd pozyskał milion zł z unijnych funduszy. Całkowity koszt będzie znany jeśli uda się rozstrzygnąć drugi przetarg, szacuje się go na półtora mln zł.
