W rok po tragicznej nawałnicy w Dziemianach stanie krzyż
Otwarto też wystawę fotograficzną dokumentującą zniszczenia i proces podnoszenia się z nich.
– Wynik działania żywiołu i odbudowy na zdjęciach zaprezentował nasz Ośrodek Kultury – mówi wójt Dziemian Leszek Pobłocki.
W gminie Dziemiany wichura rok temu uszkodziła ponad 130 domów i zabudowań gospodarczych. Zniszczyła setki hektarów lasu, a także drogi i obiekty gminne. Największe drzewo powalone przez nawałnicę posłuży do upamiętnienia tego wydarzenia. Powstanie z niego krzyż, który ma stanąć przy dziamiańskim kościele na początku września. Na usuwanie skutków nawałnicy gmina Dziemiany otrzymała ponad 4 mln zł z budżetu państwa. Wyremontowano już zniszczony budynek Środowiskowego Domu Samopomocy w Trzebuniu. Trwają też intensywne remonty dróg leśnych.
