W powiecie wejherowskim spodziewają się przyjąć do szkół ponadgimnazjalnych dwa razy więcej uczniów niż zwykle
W powiecie wejherowskim szykują się na przyjęcie do szkół ponadgimnazjalnych tzw. podwójnego rocznika. Miejsca w technikach czy liceach będą szukać zarówno kończący gimnazjum jak i uczniowie klas ósmych podstawówki.
– Z badań i szacunków wynika, że będzie ich dwa razy więcej niż zwykle, czyli ponad 3 i pół tysiąca zamiast 1 tysiąca ośmiuset – mówiła w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby wejherowska starosta Gabriela Lisius. To będzie rok wyzwań. W powiecie wejherowskim będzie więcej miejsca dzięki rozbudowie szkół w Wejherowie i Rumi o nowe pracownie – przeprowadzonej w ramach rozwoju szkolnictwa zawodowego. W związku z reformą edukacji powiększane są teraz: zespół szkół w Redzie i liceum w Rumi. – Mimo to dalej szukamy dodatkowej przestrzeni – mówi wejherowska starosta. Podkreśla, że podstawa to dobra kadra. W powiatowych placówkach liczą jeszcze ile trzeba wydać na dodatkowe wyposażenie – np. w ławki i krzesła. Nad tymi wydatkami radni powiatu wejherowskiego mają się pochylić na marcowej sesji.
