W Dziemianach odsłonią pomnik kapitana Alojzego Bruskiego
Był jedną z najwybitniejszych postaci w gminie Dziemiany – kapitana Alojzego Bruskiego uczczą dzisiaj mieszkańcy i samorządowcy. Poświęcony mu pomnik zostanie odsłonięty w samo południe w jego rodzinnej miejscowości – w Piechowicach.
– Chcemy oddać hołd tak wielkiej postaci z naszej gminy – mówi wójt Dziemian Leszek Pobłocki.
Kapitan Alojzy Bruski był żołnierzem Armii Krajowej i Delegatury Sił Zbrojnych. Wiosną 1945 roku na terenie Puszczy Bydgoskiej zorganizował oddział zajmujący się zwalczaniem żołnierzy sowieckich dokonujących rabunków na mieszkańcach okolicznych wsi. Za te działania został skazany na karę śmierci, którą wykonano w 1946 roku. Uroczystości rozpoczną się o 12:00 mszą świętą w kaplicy w Piechowicach. Po niej odsłonięty zostanie obelisk poświęcony kapitanowi Bruskiemu.
