W Bytowie zastanawiają się nad zawieszeniem przyszłorocznego budżetu obywatelskiego. Pieniądze zamiast na pomysły mieszkańców byłyby przeznaczone na walkę ze smogiem.
Na Budżet Obywatelski w 2020 roku z miejskiej kasy miało pójść 700 tys zł. Jednak jak mówi burmistrz Bytowa Ryszard Sylka – oczekiwania społeczne pokazują że potrzebne jest dofinansowanie wymiany źródeł ciepła na ekologiczne bądź na przyłączenia do miejskiej sieci ciepłowniczej. Temat poddany zostanie jeszcze dyskusji. Oprócz wymiany pieców i rozwoju sieci ciepłowniczej w Bytowie chcieliby też dofinansować remonty zabytkowych obiektów objętych nadzorem konserwatorskim.
