Reda Śródmieście – taką nazwę będzie miał nowy przystanek kolejowy
Reda Śródmieście – taką nazwę nowego przystanku kolejowego zatwierdzili miejscy radni. PKP PLK ma go zbudować na wysokości ulicy Łąkowej.
Będzie to część modernizacji linii kolejowej nr 202. Przystanek w Redzie miałby powstać do 2023 roku – ma być zadaszony i przystosowany do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych.
– To kolejowa odpowiedź na potrzeby rozwijającego się miasta – mówi burmistrz Redy Krzysztof Krzemiński.
Miejski samorząd też przygotowuje się do kolejowej inwestycji. Przeprowadzono konsultacje w sprawie zagospodarowania jego otoczenia w rejonie ulic Buczka, Gniewowskiej i Drogowców. Tzw. miedzytorze w Redzie ma być przekształcone w centrum handlowo – usługowe.
