Dwujęzyczny model wychowania to skarb dla dzieci
– Przekażmy dziecku najpiękniejszy skarb, mówmy do niego od urodzenia w języku kaszubskim – namawia w przeddzień Międzynarodowego Święta Języka Ojczystego specjalistka od wczesnej edukacji dr Ewa Andrzejewska z Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego.
Kaszubski to język ojczysty Kaszubów – choć na pół miliona naszej społeczności, po kaszubsku mówi tylko 1/5 z nas. Stąd kaszubski zaliczany jest przez specjalistów do języków zagrożonych wyginięciem. Powodem było przerwanie międzypokoleniowego przekazu języka w okresie PRL, a także globalizacja życia w XXI wieku.
– Warto wrócić do świadomego mówienia po kaszubsku – przekonuje dr Ewa Andrzejewska.
Język ojczysty to pierwszy poznawany i doświadczany przez człowieka język, w którym porozumiewa się z otoczeniem. W tym języku poznaje świat, tak myśli, śni, liczy czy też modli się. Dr Ewa Andrzejewska proponuje Kaszubom dwujęzyczny model wychowania, gdzie jedno z rodziców mówi do dziecka w języku polskim, a drugie w języku kaszubskim.
Do dwujęzycznego wychowania zachęca też stowarzyszenie Kaszëbskô Jednota, które rok 2015 obwołało Rokiem Dziecka Dwujęzycznego. Wśród wielu działań promocyjnych organizacja zapowiada między innymi zorganizowanie obozu letniego dla dzieci dwujęzycznych. Do tematu wrócimy po godz. 15:00 w programie Na Widniku Kaszëbë.
